Alice Becker-Ho (born 1941) was a key member of the Situationist International, and has a prolific and varied publishing career to her name. Her works include a three-volume study of West-European slang, The Essence of Jargon (1993), and the boardgame A Game of War (1987), co-devised, and with a book co-written, with her late husband Guy Debord. The First Ghetto; or, Venetian Exemplariness (2004)—translated into English by John McHale—was published by 1968 Press in 2022. She is also the editor of Guy Debord’s letters.
