David Pavón-Cuéllar is Professor of Marxism, Social Psychology, and Psychoanalysis at the State University of Michoacán, in Mexico. He is a Marxist thinker and activist; and has published the books From the Conscious Interior to an Exterior Unconscious: Lacan, Discourse Analysis and Social Psychology (2010); Marxism or Psychoanalysis: In or Against Psychology? (2016); and has co-edited the volumes Lacan, Discourse, Event: New Psychoanalytic Approaches to Textual Indeterminacy (2013), and The Marx Through Lacan Vocabulary: A Compass for Libidinal and Political Economies (2022). With Ian Parker he is the author of Psychoanalysis and Revolution, published by 1968 Press in 2021.
