Ian Parker (born 1956) is a renowned psychologist and psychoanalyst, and a committed communist. He is a member of the Centre for Freudian Analysis and Research; Honorary Secretary of the College of Psychoanalysts-UK; and is involved with the Fourth International. He is one of the founders of the Red Clinic, which works therapeutically with disadvantaged and oppressed people the world over; and has published extensively on critical psychology, discourse analysis, and psychoanalysis, with a Marxist bent. With David Pavón-Cuéllar he published Psychoanalysis and Revolution with 1968 Press in 2021, a book-cum-manifesto that has had a near-simultaneous release in multiple world languages.
